1 Finnish illustrator Kustaa Saksi will present his new book of retrospective work, and show a new series of war-hero characters and large-scale, never-before-seen prints as part of The Heroes exhibition at the Boudisque gallery in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from 12-30 December.

2 Illustrator and fashion designer Julie Verhoeven has created a Christmas card for the Royal College of Art. Ho Ho Ho is available exclusively through the RCA shop from late November.

3 Fashion designers including Pam Hogg, Natasha Law, Stuart Semple and Emma Bell have created bespoke car tax disc holders as part of the Vauxhall Pretty Taxing Fashion Collection. Priced at £10 each, the tax disc holders will be available from 1 December from www.artcarbootfair.com.

4 Slice, designed and produced by Timothy Ben Furniture, is intended as a functional fusion of art, design and sculpture, addressing the issue of cluttered coffee tables.
