Photography

Images by three photographers working in Japan are profiled in Out of Japan from 20 September until 3 February 2002. The exhibition showcases photography from the 19th century by Felice Beato to more contemporary imagery by Naoya Hatakeyama. An accompanying lecture takes place on 26 September at 7.15pm, by Victoria & Albert Museum curator of photographs Mark Haworth-Booth.
