Marcia Lausen, founding member of The American Institute of Graphic Arts’ Design for Democracy initiative and Professor of graphic design at the University of Illinois, Chicago, has written and designed a book to complement the AIGA campaign. Design for Democracy: Ballot & Election Design presents design models that aim to improve the election process, looking at transparency and clarity of ballots, registration forms, posters and signs. It will be released in the UK in December.
