Sam Smith, managing director, Fitch

Sam Smith has been promoted to the position of managing director at retail and brand consultancy Fitch’s London office. Smith originally joined Fitch as general manager for London in 2015. The consultancy has also promoted Anna Chimes and Matt Michaluk to creative director level.


John Oswald, Mette Anderson and Alex Crowfoot

Digital consultancy Futurice has made three new appointments to its senior management team. John Oswald joins as global principal of the consultancy’s European advisory team and Alex Crowfoot has been appointed as design director. Following several months working for Futurice as an external consultant, Mette Anderson will take up the role of managing partner of strategic innovation.


Brighton-based, digital consultancy Boz Boz has appointed Nick Marks to the role of graphic designer.


Consultancies

Brand consultancy Design Bridge has been bought by advertising giant WPP. The acquisition will see the formerly independent consultancy become part of WPP’s branding and identity group, but it will continue to be run by the same management team and remain in its London headquarters. London-based consultancy HeyHuman has been appointed as the lead creative agency for herbal tea brand Heath & Heather. The consultancy will oversee branding, campaigns and social media activity for the company.
