MG Rover kept stalling because of financial constraints

Historically, MG Rover has been synonymous with innovative design (see Voxpop, below), but for the past 20 years or so the manufacturer has failed to capture our imagination, which in today’s image-conscious world is a catastrophic failing.

We’ve seen refreshing designs from Mini, Smart and Renault, while Audi, Nissan and Mazda have demonstrated the importance of maintaining a sense of aspiration within your product line-up.

Clearly, MG Rover’s recent troubles have severely hampered the company’s ability to innovate or excite us.
