Team Saatchi’s corporate identity for PayPoint goes live next month in London retail outlets. It denotes points where utilities bills can be paid.

Evolution Design in Edinburgh is to merge with Creative Umbrella, a local marketing consultancy, on 1 September. Evolution Design and Marketing will have four full-time staff, all classed as partners.

Work by renowned Spanish designer Javier Mariscal features in a range of comic-style kitchenware by Italian household goods manufacturer Alessi. The products have begun to arrive in the UK. The brightly designed aprons, kitchen gloves and other fabric-based products are part of an extension of the Alessi range announced in February this year. Alessi’s UK distribution agency, Norman J Black of Sheffield, estimates the Comix in the Kitchen range will be stocked in 70 of the 250 retail outlets which currently sell Alessi products in the UK.

A new application pack for Lottery funding from The Arts Council has been designed by Omnific, which has handled the council’s annual reports for the past two years.

Torres Design, the consultancy acquired by Revolution earlier this month, has created a sports bar and diner for Sunderland Football Club. The interiors are intended to provide a relaxing environment in which to watch sport. The consultancy is to be renamed Revolution Leisure. It has also recruited a new marketing manager, Denise No&#235l, who has come from Delta Marketing.
