1 Following his talk at Tate Modern on the history of graffiti earlier this month, Remi Morgan and artists Chu and Part2ism have created ‘a reply to the Tate’s graffiti exhibition’ on London’s South Bank, SE1.

2 The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has unveiled the new British Embassy building in Jakarta, Indonesia, designed by architect HOK.

3 New York-based sculptor and artist David Altmejd is showing his work in London this autumn, exploring myth and the fantastical. The eponymous exhibition runs from 16 October to 15 November at Stuart Shave/ Modern Art, 23/25 Eastcastle Street, London W1.

4 Furniture designer Ryan Frank has created a totem pole-style stacking stool made from straw and wool. Called Isabella, it is set to be launched at the London Design Festival this September.

5 Designer Emily Jenkins has created handcrafted sets (pictured) for Lauren Child’s new rendition of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, to be published by Puffin Books on 4 September. Child, author of Charlie and Lola, has collaborated with Jenkins and photographer Polly Borland on the picture book.
