Dental inspection lamp designed by Product Partners

Product Partners has designed a dental inspection lamp for healthcare lighting specialist Daray Lighting. The lamp, which goes on sale from April, has been created to compete with high-quality designs from Europe and North America. It took over six months to design and develop.

‘The lamp is designed with a single glass reflector that contains lots of mirrors to concentrate the light in the shape of a mouth. The lamp was of injection-moulded plastic and because the core of the lamp generates localised temperatures of over 200 degrees centigrade material selection was important,’ says Product Partners director Paul Neal.
