Reconceiving a ‘country estate’ with Ardill and Sea

Shropshire country estate Sansaw is being redeveloped in conjunction with design consultant Ralph Ardill and Sea Design to make it a blueprint for ‘modern rural living’.

The estate’s new business park, The Pavilions, will open in May and will include a firm of chartered surveyors, farm shops and architects.

James Thompson, manager of Sansaw, says, ‘The concept of modern, rural living underpins everything that we are trying to achieve with our eco-friendly retail business.’

Ardill is working on a five-year plan to develop the business. He will focus on developing the concept that shows businesses there is an alternative to city life.

Sea Design has designed the visual branding for The Pavilions, an organic food range and new signage for the estate. It has also designed a website set to go live when the business park opens in May.
