UDV in exclusive gin bar talks

Drinks giant UDV’s gin brand Tanqueray is on the verge of signing a deal with a major retailer to create a bar that embodies the spirit’s brand.

“Nothing has been signed yet, but Tanqueray has been in discussions and we hope to have most of the deal in place early next week. Design has been addressed in those discussions, but I can’t say any more than that at this stage,” says a Tanqueray spokeswoman.

Meanwhile, The Ministry of Sound has appointed United Designers to extend its club brand into a bar concept.
