If you sidestep health restrictions you betray the public

Work by Fitch, Design Bridge and Dragon Rouge for tobacco companies is innovative I’m sure (Feature, DW 30 June), but how admirable is applying creativity to get around health restrictions? Oliver Grenier seems to express the view that finding ways to circumnavigate such rules is what makes a designer’s job fascinating. Rising to such a challenge may endear consultancy to client, but what about a designer’s relationship to the public?
