AstraZeneca, the pharmaceuticals giant, published a careers pack for UK students and teachers, designed by Indigo, last week.
The pack, entitled Inspiring Careers, is designed to generate interest in careers within the pharmaceutical industry generally and AstraZeneca specifically.
It targets 14- to 18-year-olds and their teachers and will be distributed nationally to schools, colleges and careers fairs and offices.
The pack contains information about the company and the types of jobs on offer, as well as pharmaceutical industry information.
‘Children are not really taking science as an option between GCSE and A-level. AstraZeneca wanted to improve the level of communication between schools and colleges and the company,’ says an Indigo spokeswoman.
The group received a five-figure sum for the work and won the project following a four-way creative pitch.
The consultancy is also in the final throes of designing and building a supporting website, which is scheduled to launch after Easter.
