Design Week reveals true colours of hack Pink
Graphic designer Jane Pink found herself in the enviable position of sampling £1700 worth of cosmetic therapy for London’s Evening Standard recently.
Long nights spent hunched over the drawing board were erased in a flash with laser wrinkle treatment to flatten client-induced frowns, a glycolic acid hand peel to remove sticky bits of glue from mood boards and a cellulite busting session to erase orange-peel thighs caused by too many seated brainstorms.
A surprise, then, that Design Week rumbled the ‘graphic designer’ as a hack herself and discovered that Pink isn’t even her real name.
It could be the colour that the Evening Standard editor’s cheeks have just turned, however.
