Cambridge wants more product design news

With reference to your comment entitled Good design is not limited to London (Comment, DW 8 May), I would like to point out that virtually all the successful new-product development work done in the UK is centred around Cambridge.

Cambridge Consultants and its local competition undertake world-class work for global companies in telecoms, healthcare, consumer durables, fmcg and packaging, industrial products, automotives, to name a few.

Not all of us are interested in marketing to other design consultants – our clients are the focus of our attention. However, it would be nice to see product design and development featured more regularly in Design Week.
