Aukett profits in 1996

Quoted building design group Aukett Associates has returned to profit with a full year pre-tax profit of 30 000, compared to a loss of 376 000 in 1995.

The group is offering 44.3m shares in a rights issue to generate 1.76m to restore its capital base. Chairman Gerry Deighton says: ‘We are optimistic that Aukett Associates can now expand in a careful and controlled way.’
