MPL has created new branding and packaging for pharmaceutical manufacturer Pharmacia and Upjohn’s hair-loss treatment Regaine.

David Hamilton, Professor of Ceramics and Glass, has been appointed as Pro-Rector of the Royal College of Art – the RCA’s most senior academic position. And Terry Gilliam, Daniel Libeskind, Martin Hunt, Perry King, Gillian Naylor, Wendy Ramshaw and Allan Scharff have all been made visiting professors.

Michael Nash Associates continues its packaging work for Buxton Foods with a three-strong chocolate range for the Stamp Collection of organic snacks.

NEC briefed Frazer Designers to investigate the younger pager market in an effort to shift the company’s image away from business pagers, says consultancy design director Jonathan Knight. So these brightly coloured and textured gadgets are designed to blend with the lifestyle of 18- to 25-year-olds. They are ‘pocketable, can be worn round the neck like a hippy wallet or rolled up in a shirt sleeve’, says Knight.
