Edinburgh-based Tayburn has designed a beer fount for brewer Scottish & Newcastle’s premium brand Newcastle Brown Ale. The fount aims to generate greater ‘in-bar’ impact and is introduced to global markets including Australia, Canada, Scandinavia and the US early next year. The design incorporates a new component, the Head Injection Tap. Invented by S&N, this produces a ‘tight creamy head’ that stays fresh as the pint is drunk.
