Glazer looks after new Moss identity

Local chemists chain Moss Pharmacy is launching a new corporate identity, designed by London consultancy Glazer, for its 564 stores.

With an image of two interlocking hearts to represent the customer and Moss together, Moss Pharmacy wants to underline the community values central to its positioning, says Glazer creative director David Jones.

“Their shops tend to be local chemists, the kind of shops where the assistants know your name,” says Jones.

The brief was to create an identity incorporating the core values of the company’s strapline, “looking after you”, he adds.

The new look is a reference to the pharmacist’s cross symbol and the shapes of pills and plasters. It features the colours of the Alliance Unichem logo, which is the parent group of Moss.
