On-line wedding service says ‘I do’ to CPB brand

Coley Porter Bell has completed its first on-line branding project with a revamp of wedding and gift service Internet site Confetti.co.uk. The new look launched on Monday.

The redesign aims to cope with new content and increasing levels of interest, with 5000 couples currently registered with the site. New stationery and promotional literature have also been created.

CPB managing director Amanda Connolly believes digital media will be a big growth area for the consultancy.

“We are well known for working on brands such as Lego, Dulux and Milk Tray, and as more brands discover the role of e-commerce and websites, we will increasingly bring brands to life via new media,” she explains.

“The Confetti website is both uncluttered and easy to navigate, while the petal icon creates a recognisable brand in an increasingly crowded market that is reliant chiefly upon photographic images of couples to convey its content,” Connolly adds.

Confetti managing director David Lethbridge adds: “Our mission was to bring information on a range of products and services under one roof to ease the stress and enable couples to concentrate on the fun of it.”

CPB director Steve Bell says: “Within the next month we hope to appoint a new media designer and account manager, specifically for on-line projects.”
