Deepend office set for Toronto

Deepend is to open its first Canadian office, in Toronto, next month. The office will be headed by British-born Simon Wood.

It is the group’s third North American office, following US openings over the past year. “After opening studios in New York and San Francisco, our decision to enter the Toronto market is both sensible and strategic,” says Gary Lockton, chief executive of Deepend parent company Deepgroup.

Internet usage rates in Canada are among the highest in the world, says Lockton, providing Deepend with a “stimulating and challenging environment”.
