Festival: New Blood

New Blood 2014

What: New Blood offers a selection of priced fringe events and talks alongside a free exhibition, all aimed at design students and recent graduates. There will be talks by consultancies such as Design Bridge, Elmwood, Hirsch & Mann, Wolff Olins and The Partners, and an array of work exhibited from 50 different universities and colleges across the country.

When: 30 June – 2 July 2015

Where: All around Shoreditch

Info: The exhibition, running 1 -2 July, is free. Fringe event tickets are priced and can be bought individually online.


 

Exhibition: New Designers Part II

What: The second part of New Designers 2015 takes place in July, showcasing the work of 3,000 graduates from design courses across the country. It’ll offer design inspiration, potential recruitment opportunities and the chance to buy new products.

When: 1 – 4 July 2015

Where: Business Design Centre, London, N1 0QH

Info: £15 per day available on the door.


Exhibition: Free Range

What: This is another chance for new creative graduates to showcase their work, and will span disciplines such as fashion, art, graphics, photography and interior design. 9 – 13 July will be Interior Design and Architecture Week at the exhibition.

When: 2 – 9 July 2015

Where: The Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, London, E1 6QL

Exhibition: Summer Screen Prints

What: Designers and artists such as Rose Blake have created limited-edition prints recreating film posters, drawing inspiration from scenes, quotes, characters and other elements. They will be showcased and up for sale at this poster exhibition.

What: The Design Week Awards celebrates exceptional design work across all disciplines, from exhibition and interiors to product and branding. The deadline is fast approaching so don’t miss your chance to be recognised.
