Capel Cure Sharp opts for a new Façade

FAADE Design has created the identity for the newly merged private client investment company Capel Cure Sharp.

The company, which launched this month, was created when South African financial retail services organisation Old Mutual bought Albert E Sharp and Capel Cure Myers. The group currently manages about 9bn of funds.

The brief from CCS followed research carried out by London group Façade.

Consultancy director Alan Fender says “It was to demonstrate a strong cohesion within the newly merged companies, the continuing close working relationship between the client and adviser, and an identity which will cut through the fog of the current marketplace, creating a high recognition factor with the industry’s conservative lookalikes.”

“Using a contemporary marque representing the initials of Capel Cure Sharp, a harmonious structure was created presenting a solid, stable marriage between the two companies and the clients with their adviser,” he adds.

The new identity is being applied to a selection of company brochures and flyers, plus its website.
