Met Studio wins Queen’s Award

Exhibition design group Met Studio Design has collected a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in recognition of its global success.

The company earned £2.5m in overseas design fees between 2000 and 2002 on projects for clients such as Swire Properties in Hong Kong and Lucent Technologies in Nuremberg.

‘The Queen’s Award is recognised as a global kitemark,’ says Met Studio Design chairman and creative director Alex McCuaig, who says the company will use the accolade as a launch pad for expansion into the US market.
