Fontworks, famed for its Neville Brody connection, has introduced FontConsultant 1.0. This apparently is a new tool for managing, examining and selecting typefaces on the Mac and allows you to keep the fonts wherever you like. You can look at typographic data such as X and M heights and use a simple copyfitting calculator. Cost is 60 until the end of April and Fontworks is on 0171-608 1854.
