Bottom Line plan for Groundwise

Bottom Line Design has created the branding for construction services group Groundwise Searches, which will be unveiled this week.

Groundwise, which launched two weeks ago, provides details of underground infrastructure, such as water mains and gas pipes, to the engineering and construction sector.

Bottom Line won the project through a recommendation from one of the venture capitalists backing Groundwise.

The brief was to communicate what the company does in a way that can be used in different formats, says Groundwise managing director David Gunn.

Bottom Line launched in 1989, but changed its name to Liddiard & Leigh in 1995, according to co-founder Chris Liddiard.

The new Bottom Line Design is a joint venture formed by Liddiard and financial PR firm Tavistock Communications, which was launched on 1 February.
