Irvine joins Ziggurat as director

Steve Irvine has left his design directorship at Brown KSDP to become branding consultancy Ziggurat’s first design director.

Irvine, who spent seven years at Lloyd Ferguson Hawkins and four and a half at Coley Porter Bell, has been hired to lend weight and experience to Ziggurat’s team.

Creative director Nigel Ritchie says the position has been created because “we have some really senior people, but we need greater seniority in the team”. He adds: “[Irvine] has experience, a great track record and a real can do, get up and go personality. He’s a really good motivator.”

Irvine will oversee major UK and pan-European accounts and concentrate on “getting the best craft skills from our designers”.

The group’s clients include Unilever, GlaxoSmithKline and Citigroup.
