Restaurant targets ‘middle youth’ with United Designers

United Designers has created graphics and interiors for Teatro, a London restaurant set up by footballer Lee Chapman and actress Leslie Ash. Fashion retailer Red or Dead has designed the staff livery.

United Designers has created signage, menus, matchboxes, ash-trays, ticket tags and a logo for the restaurant, as well as all interiors, including those for a private members bar.

“We have gone for a fairly broad market with a bias towards ‘middle youth’. The restaurant has a classic feel, with leather seating and linen covered tables, but with a modern edge,” says a United Designers spokeswoman.

Teatro, on Shaftesbury Avenue, opens at the end of February.
