Consultancy stalls after search engine misfires

A shocked Chris Bray from Logo Design and Marketing in Devon revealed last week how his design group disappeared from Google’s top five sites, after the search engine tweaked its search algorithm.

Despite retaining a first page listing for more than three years, Logo Design and Marketing no longer appears front and centre, presumably when keying in the keywords ‘logo’ ‘design’ and ‘marketing’. Despondent from the incident, Bray reveals he was alerted when the influx of work to Devon began to dry up.

‘After a few days we realised we hadn’t had a single new business enquiry through the Web,’ he says.

It couldn’t have anything to do with the Christmas holidays, by any chance?
