Clothes that can record speech – yes really – but not quite yet. Design Week has stumbled across this interesting article from Cliff Kuang, the editor of Co Design, that shows how Yoel Fink – a materials science professor at MIT – has invented a new type of fibre that can detect and produce sound.

While the FIFA World Cup may now be a distant memory, Americans have found their passion for soccer and to prove this are hoping to host it in 2018 or 2022. Take a look at the graphic programme, on which Pentagram has worked with USA Bid Committee – the campaign focuses on the phrase ’The Game is in US’.

Graduates look for advice from employers, but how about the other way round? Creative Review’s recent blog looks at a ten-point plan called Mind The Gap, revealing what creative interns would like from employers.
