Airport plans set for take-off

The budget was approved last week for the expansion of Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport, with a funding package of 350.2m.

Interior designer on the 10.25m project is US consultancy Skidmore Owings & Merill. The expansion will increase the number of passengers the airport can handle by six million a year to 16 million, says an Israel Airports Authority spokeswoman.
