Renegade City: Proclamations for a Beautiful City, from 16 to 27 June, is a graphic installation by writer Alain de Botton and graphic design partnership Apfel, which challenges the traditional role of the architect in urban design.

D&AD President’s Forum: Creativity in Asia – the Singapore Perspective takes place on 27 June. A panel including Dr Milton Tan of DesignSingapore Council will discuss design in Singapore.

Venue: Old Billingsgate, 16 Lower Thames Street, London EC3.



The Show: Part Two, from 23 June to 2 July, is the last of the Royal College of Art’s graduate exhibitions this summer and includes work by students of design, fashion, textiles, architecture, animation and conservation.

Venue: RCA, Kensington Gore, London SW7.


Wimbledon School of Art Theatre Degree Show, from 29 June to 4 July, exhibits work by, among others, costume design, set design and design for performance students.

Venue: Wimbledon School of Art, Main building, Merton Hall Road, London SW19.



Expo Manchester, a series of free events over four days, kicks off with solo sound exhibitions from Staalplaat Soundsystem, Helmut Lemke and Bob Levene on 23 June.
