The Met starts peddling on the beat

The Metropolitan Police is trialing its latest weapon in its war on crime. Villains had better watch out because the old bill is on the case and on a bike. But not just any old bike. This one’s got a flashing siren and no less than 14 gears. The siren has a rechargeable battery, but it runs out after eight hours, so don’t be surprised if you spot a red-faced rozzer peddling maniacally down your high street screaming siren noises and waving a torch.
