Tutssels toasts new staff with cocktails
Tutssels has appointed Paul Stallard as business development director. Stallard was previously at The Gathering, the Duncan Bruce-led group Stallard joined at its foundation in 1996.
Stallard’s move to Tutssels reunites him with creative director Glenn Tutssel – the two worked together at Michael Peters Group “many years ago”, says Tutssel.
Bruce says Stallard is not being replaced: “We are just going to do things differently.”
Stallard will work with Tutssels marketing director Liz Dunning. Tutssel says Stallard has been taken on because the business is growing: “New-business people end up account-handling so Paul is going to help develop new business for us, particularly on packaging.”
Meanwhile, Tutssels has created the name, branding and packaging for a new United Distillers alcoholic drink product, Tony’s Freezer Cocktails.
There are initially three flavours of cocktails in the range, each packed in a foil pouch which is put in the freezer before consumption. The packaging takes the form of an old US-style fridge/ freezer, complete with fridge magnets hinting at the cocktails’ ingredients.
The packs are now going on-shelf and United Distillers is working on further flavours to be introduced before Xmas.
An advertising campaign by St Luke’s is in the pipeline.
