Snack manufacturer The Fabulous Bakin’ Boys has cooked up a range of flapjack and muffin fingers with packaging by Stratford-on-Avon group Ztwo Design.
The range of four products are presented in scoop-style outers, more commonly used for French fries in fast-food chains, and will be available in supermarkets like Tesco and Sainsbury’s from the end of this week.
Ztwo Design has also created postcards, posters and point-of-sale material to support the launch.
According to Ztwo Design designer Nick Brown the range represents ‘real innovation’ in snack packaging and comes as part of the company’s drive to expand its presence in the major supermarket chains.
The products have been differentiated for adults and children. The adult packaging reflects the brand’s colour palette, but the children’s packaging is ‘more vibrant and energetic’, Brown adds.
Ztwo Design was appointed to the project on the strength of an existing relationship with the company. Designer Tony Guttman worked with Brown on the packaging concepts.
