The world’s most visible ‘Swissophile’ wasn’t flavour of the week among designers on the shores of Lake Geneva, we can tell you.

The blazer-and-slacks cocktail set were very snippy about Winkorp creative director and Wallpaper founder Tyler Brûlé. Phrases like ‘self-promoting poseur’, ‘not even a proper designer’ and ‘won the Swiss airline business with a back-of-fag-packet design’ (results pictured) echoed round the mountain. Ooh, did we spot a double entendre there?
