Phoenix Fabrications will unveil its revamped corporate identity, literature, website and advertising, created by Design One, on 13 December.
The consultancy has created the overall corporate identity and the identities of Phoenix’s five divisions.
The brief was to create an identity that ‘represented the vibrancy and professionalism of the business and its high quality products that was professional and serious with an element of fun’, says Design One creative director Jo Richman.
Design One’s solution encompasses a cartoon superhero character called Fab Man, who will appear on advertising and the website. ‘It is a very forward-thinking company,’ Richman says. ‘There is nothing like it within the fabrications industry.’
Design One was appointed without a pitch to the project, which carried a £15 000 design fee. It is the most that Phoenix has spent on design in its 18 months of business. The company provides aluminium fabrication to the construction industry.
