What an excellent article by Jim Davies (DW 8 November) about the origins of font names.
Though writing this letter makes me feel like an anorak/ typographic trainspotter, Bodoni of Parma, author of the Manuale Tipografico, was Giambattista rather than Giovanni. But then again, perhaps I should get a life/ get out more shouldn’t I?
