Welsh economics go Underground

In April the South East Wales Economic Forum is to relaunch with a revamped brand identity and name created by Underground.

Underground will begin work on the forum’s strategic positioning this week as it gears up to encourage expanding businesses into the area from around the UK and Ireland. The forum is part of the Welsh Development Agency.

The identity will be applied to all communications, including literature, promotional material, advertising and a website. The consultancy fee is £45 000, which includes designing the website.

According to Welsh Development Agency South East division marketing manager Rebecca Phillips, ‘Next year will be the first time the organisation has an outward focus.’

The consultancy won the work via a six-way unpaid creative pitch (DW 8 November).
