New York’s Drenttel Doyle Partners has won first prize in the outside services for book design category at the LMP Awards held in New York’s public library last week. The group was nominated for its design of William Wegman’s ABC book illustrating the alphabet.
The redesign aims to attract “new, younger and more culturally diverse audiences” to the 118-year-old magazine, while avoiding confusion with The Times newspaper.
