Rebrand born of Immaculate Conceptions

Harrow-based Immaculate Conceptions is rebranding 25-year-old security firm Unitrust Protection Services, as the company seeks to modernise its image for the first time.

The design brief initially involves a logo – completed this week – and brochure, but will stretch to include a website revamp, staff uniforms and the creation of other marketing collateral.

UniTrust’s work ranges from corporate and hotel security to close protection – mostly within the M25 – as well as investigations on behalf of clients, especially in law firms.

The rebrand comes as the security industry plans to introduce a licensing system through its trade associations, says UniTrust managing director Paul Griffin.

‘We wanted to jazz up our logo and make it more contemporary,’ explains Griffin.

‘We’ve never marketed the company until now and have usually relied on word of mouth and client contacts. Security is a fairly generic service, however, and we want to make the market more aware of us.’

Immaculate Conceptions senior designer Kevin O’Connor is responsible for the creative work.

‘We were originally brought in to bring a bit of life to the brand, and the project developed from there,’ he comments.

The consultancy was appointed following a three-way pitch earlier this month.
