Clock-watchers at Pentagram get Texan relief

Tee hee! Those crazy dudes at Pentagram sure know how to knock together a press release.

And here it is – in its entire length (more than four feet!). Marvellous visual pun with the Lone Star clock amid the line-up of familiar world cities.

Pentagram has just opened its newest office, in Austin, Texas. So now the partners – or should that be “pardners”? – have another time zone to occupy.

Back to the clocks idea for a moment. Hasn’t a similar line up been created before somewhere else? Ah, yes. At The Partners’ offices in London, where a line up of identical clocks is punctuated by a huge and noisy cuckoo clock which blares out the time in Geneva, Zurich or somewhere else in Switzerland.

An alarming similarity, no?
