Crisp image for Snackhouse

Bensons Crisps, one of the UK’s four largest snack food manufacturers, has been rebranded by London design group Butcher & Gundersen as Snackhouse, after the acquisition of two snack companies over the past two years.

The launch of the new marque coincides with the publication of the company’s annual report this week, also created by Butcher & Gundersen.

“We were asked to conduct a name generation and design programme for the new identity. [It needed] to reflect their strategy of developing innovative, quality branded niche products. Snackhouse says more about what they are trying to do,” according to Butcher & Gundersen client services director James Cash.

In addition to the new identity, the London design consultancy has developed branding for three new crisp ranges which hit the shelves this week.
