Design Process; The Structure of Transparency; Organic Arrangement; Michael Walter

As part of the Design Council’s Design in Education Week, which runs from 3-7 April, Design Process exhibits from 29 March until 7 April. Aimed at school groups, but also open to the general public, the exhibition brings together the work of leading designers and covers the processes they use when creating new designs.

The Structure of Transparency, until 20 May, exhibits the work of James Carpenter Design Associates. Carpenter’s studio has developed unique structural design solutions using glass, aluminium and steel.

Venue: Architectural Association Gallery, 36 Bedford Square, London WC1.

Manchester-based artist Joel Rock says his work crosses over from graphics into fine art. His bronze sculptures look like apples with chunks bitten out of them. Organic Arrangement runs until 15 April.
