Dutch electronics giant Philips has unveiled a 41m-high racing catamaran, branded by Design Bridge, for a round-the-world speed sailing record attempt at the end of March. Team Philips is also part of a drive to motivate staff at the company, according to Design Bridge service branding unit creative director Steffan Bufler. ‘It is a fantastic opportunity for Philips to get the brand seen across the world and promote the team spirit that goes with sailing,’ he explains. ‘We have used elements of the Philips icon and freed them up.’
