PSD style for Amacom range

Richmond design group PSD Associates has beaten Pankhurst Design Development in an unpaid credentials pitch to redesign four key products for computer peripherals developer and manufacturer Amacom Technologies.

Amacom is projecting turnover of more than £6m this year. PSD will redesign the company’s flip disk, CD drive, DVD and CDRW drive, in an effort to attain further growth. All four products are due to be launch in January 2001.

Amacom managing director John Micheal says: “The redesign of these products is very important to us so that we can constantly deliver cutting edge technology.”

“It is exciting to be working in the computer peripherals market as this is a growth area for us,” says PSD senior product designer Chris Woodward.
