Croneen heads Morton UK team

Global events design specialist Jack Morton Worldwide has appointed former Caribiner International client services director Laurence Croneen to managing director of Jack Morton UK. Croneen effectively replaces Mark Wallace, who resigned from Caribiner prior to its acquisition by US-based Jack Morton.

This follows other changes at senior level, including the appointments of Alex Ritchie as creative head of branded exhibitions and environments (DW 17 November) and creative director David Zolkwer, who joins the company’s board.

“It is an important time for Jack Morton,” says Croneen. “We are in the process of expanding our offering with new areas, such as environmental design and digital media, and are keen to demonstrate our global reach.” Croneen adds that “the business has never been so well placed to attract global design business”.

Chairman Lois Jacobs says that Croneen’s appointment will finish off Jack Morton’s aim of expanding both its client and creative teams.

Croneen has been with the group for 15 years since joining as a graduate trainee.
