Deedman turns over a new leaf

Bolton interior landscapes and tropical plant group Deedman is launching a redesigned corporate identity created by Prestwich-based design consultancy Appleby Bowers.

Deedman, a 25-year-old family business specialising in the design, provision and maintenance of indoor plants to retail, leisure and commercial businesses, appointed the consultancy three months ago after a three-way pitch.

Its new identity, described by Appleby Bowers partner Bernie Bowers as a “classic word-marque which expresses the quality of the business”, has been produced in mono to facilitate its stamping on to plant containers.

The identity will be applied to marketing communications material including flyers, mailshots and a six-page folder.

According to Deedman managing director Butch Deedman, “We felt it was time for a modernisation programme to help boost our market presence and reflect our growing prosperity.”
