Independent designer Neill Hope has created an identity for The Easy Drinking Whisky Company, a start-up whisky distributor that aims to popularise the drink among a younger audience.
The company, formed by entrepreneurs David Robertson and Mark and Jon Geary, is due to launch the drinks under its ‘Jon, Mark and Robbo’ brand next week.
Hope has also created branding and packaging for the products, called ‘The Rich Spicy One’, ‘The Smoky Peat One’ and ‘The Smooth Sweeter One’.
The work aims to shake up the traditional ‘tartan and heather’ image of Scotch whisky, says Hope. Dowcarter has designed the website www.jonmarkandrobbo.com.
