Different designers were brought in for each venue for this touring exhibition of urban culture in the Far East. For the Hayward Gallery leg, Rem Koolhaas and Ole Scheeren organised the eclectic and often chaotic mix of installations. Exhibits ranged from a mini golf course to a cardboard house by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, constructed specially for the event on the Hayward balcony.
