A Bit of Skirt; Walk ’99; The Northern Packaging Exhibition; Trace: The International Liverpool Biennial of Contemporary Art; Satellites of Fashion

A Bit of Skirt, from 25-26 September, is an exhibition of photography, illustration, film, music and design based around the phrase. Design duo Skirt has curated the exhibition as an extension of an ongoing project which explores issues of identity.

Walk ’99 takes visitors on a circuit around Notting Hill’s furniture retailers, designers and artists, from 24 September until 2 October.

The Northern Packaging Exhibition is held on 29-30 September. The event gives visitors the opportunity to see the latest packaging products, new technologies and applications from the industry.

Trace: The International Liverpool Biennial of Contemporary Art will be on show until 21 November. The work of 11 international artists charts journeys of discovery or uses evocative materials that allow us to recall an object or event.

Venue: Tate Gallery Liverpool, Albert Dock, Liverpool L3 4BB.

Satellites of Fashion showcases the best of British fashion. Accessories are on display from a range of contemporary designers, including Philip Treacy, Lulu Guinness and Patrick Cox. The exhibition takes place from 25 September-21 November.
